Happy Father's day

It was father's day today. But I was the one who slept in. I haven't slep in in about 8 months or so. Sooo good. Rob was happy today because it was his day. Rob, Ginger and I went to see Shrek. It was so fun. I even cried at the end because shrek says the best part of the whole thing was that he got to fall in love with Fiona all over again. That was our favorite part. The best part for Ginger was Ging, the gingerbread man. Ging. And the other part we liked was: "...do the roar, do the roar..."
Mom and I did a special service so we could say happy father's day.
Took a nap with baby Robert, soooo good.
Brazil won the game against that county I don't remember the name. Rob said it is the southernmost country of Africa or something like that. I should know the name. Mom put the new brazil t shirt we just got from brazil (thank you) on little Robert. Brazil em rumo do hexa. Go Brazil!

Tomorrow is father's day here. Daddy's day!! Tomorrow i'll try to come back and tell you what Ginger did to Rob Rob.
In the meantime, this is what's going on. For the firs time after... what... 10 years maybe... I was able to listen to the stonewall celebration concert (thank you Hi.). it reminds me of my friends. This week, since Wednesday, I have been driving by myself in the car because school is over and no day care, because they are home with vovo. so i've been listening some of old school stuff. i guess we can call it that...
anyway, today was a fun day. me and gigi went to a baby shower of one of the girls from work. it was very fun. these people are genuinily cool. is that how you spell that???
I'm reading a book Elisa sent to me. I had forgotten how good it is to read a fiction book. Hopefully I will start reading more, to make ginger company. she has read more books than I ever had. i hope she keeps doing that, so I have to do it too. I'm going to go now.
pandora radio is very cool. you hear all kinds of stuff. As robert says, night niiiiight!

June is here

We are half way in 2010 already. Mae is coming soon. It will be so good. We can't wait. She will have so much fun.
The Altar is home. Last Saturday I went to Miami for the Memorial day service. We stayed at Simone's house. It was so fun. I guess I do have friends here. The kids had so much fun. Robert likes being around people. He is so much fun.

Life

Life is good. I love Rob, Ginger, Robert, family and friends!!
Ginger had a competition at her school yesterday called "Forensics Meet" which is basically, children competing on reading poems and acting it out. She got 2nd place. Her best friends Sarah got 1st place. I told second place is better than first, she looked at me puzzled and said hah??
Work is better. I asked for help and I got help. Hopefully getting caught up for good.
I'm trying to be more gratefull for everything!
Rob is good, and Robert too! They are so fun. Robert has been kind of sick for the past few weeks. I just want to hold him all the time and make him feel better. Vacation is coming up!! Can't wait to do nothing, and lots of deep cleaning!!! and sleep in, zzzzzzzzzzzz. Love you all. I love reading you guys.

Ginger loves to speak portuguese, sometimes she has no idea what she is saying but thinks she is the coolest kid when she says it.
Robert is a wonderful baby. I'm am so lucky. Rob and I talk about it sometimes when we look at both of them. We have to get better tough, somethimes we get a little short with each other, at least we always end up saying I'm sorry.
Don't know what else to say... Work has been kind of hard, but it is the season.
I saw the movie 50 first dates today. I've seen it before but it's been awhile, and I forgot some parts of it. it was cute.

Park

We went to the park today. It was fun. Ginger played a lot, Robert was clinging on me most of the time. The weather was beautifull, kind of chilli but not too much. We went to the Punta Gorda park and we can see the water while we play. So nice. I wish Rob was off .

I watched 2046 today. I think I liked it. It was too long tough. Kind of tiring, but I keep thinking about some pieces of it. If I saw this movie when I was a teenager or a little older, I would have loved it. I still love a lot of movies that I loved back then, but I think I changed a lot. Tonight or tomorrow I'm going to watch Zombieland.

Excuse my poor blogging skills

I wanted to write a little at least every week, but it's now happening. But I'm back now. Not sure exactly what happened to the month of February. It flew by. Robert turned 1! He is sooooo good! All good. He is eating lots of table food now. He's been eating that for a while. I think he is done.
Oh well i get to go. Be back soon. I tought about Dani a lot on the 3rd. Happy birthday Dani!

Esta semana

This week went by really fast. It was a good week tough. I talked to Bia today. She is going to have some friends come over to her place to eat, hang out, play music and stuff...
Robert threw up at day care so I had to leave one day early. And the next day, Rob went to take him to daycare, but they could not take him. So, it was pretty hectic. Rob freaked out, took baby to his work, and then I went to get him, and took him to my work. It was kind of fun actually to have him with me for a little bit.
I had a life sale this week. That is like super awesome! I think I'm getting caught up with my stuff.
Rob did the dishes three night in a row. He said he was inspired by the movie Mr. Mom. I told him I will buy that movie.
Baby Robert is standing up by himself. So cool!

What to write?

I don't know what to write. So much to write, so many thoughts, but no time. Always no time. 5 minutes before I have to get up and do the dishes. I have been doing the dishes every night. I'm very proud of myself. Baby Robert loves my carrots and potatoes. He ate a piece of eggplant the other day. He is going to be my eggplant buddy. Eggplant buddy!
